Qingdao Lieying Group, Qilian government and China Air Sport Department launched together a new paragliding space in Qilian in order to hold the first Coupe Icare China from 12 to 15 July 2018. Qilian is located in Qinghai province in Northwest of China, renowned as “Eastern Switzerland” with snow mountains, flower prairie, agreeable temperature and nice thermals.

Coupe Icare China is also supported by Coupe Icare France with the same activities like flying performance, Icare cinema, Icare Expo and Icare Folies.

Mr Wang, head Coupe Icare China organization said this event demonstrated the promising future of Chinese Air Sport. Mr Daniel from France Coupe Icare delegation congratulated the success of this funny, eyes-open and also emotional event. This 45^th  but first overseas Coupe Icare attracted 200 pilots from 15 countries to fly in Qilian.

From now on, every year Coupe Icare will be hold in China. China welcomes all pilots to fly and promises them an extraordinary experience.
